Almost Ready to Pull the Trigger. Any last-minute advice?

I’m in the SE. most recent charge at EA was 1) 69 F air temp, 2) all stations empty, 3) my car was at 28%. I barely touched 120 for a few seconds. Instead it was just above 100 and then I gave up after 10 minutes. I’ve yet to sustain anything above 120 at any type of high speed charger.

Almost Ready to Pull the Trigger. Any last-minute advice?

I have a 2026 Touring and so far in my experience the charging speeds have been incredibly disappointing. Not being compatible with the majority of Tesla superchargers means that I likely won’t take the car very far on a trip. Easy to drive, smooth ride, handling is fine, quick at all speeds.

2026 Lucid Air Touring - 3 month review

Thank you all for your replies. The variability in what people achieve with charging speeds reminds me of something Phil Mickelson said to David Feherty in an interview about people talking about how far they hit their pitching wedge - “people say well I hit my pitching wedge 120. You might hit...

2026 Lucid Air Touring - 3 month review

Yeah but those new stations are very few and Tesla doesn’t seem as committed to building out the network. The Rivian worked great with them, which allowed me to get really comfortable on a variety of road trips, such as off interstate and along state highways. Has anyone heard the rationale...

2026 Lucid Air Touring - 3 month review

Here are my most recent two 350 kWh charger sessions. Both in ideal conditions and the % of battery below 30%. Again, I’ve only had it hit over 100 once, the others were 50 (TSLA which I expected) and then 70 at EVG and EA. Service told me this is normal but under this, I’ll never get the...

2026 Lucid Air Touring - 3 month review

It’s been 3 months since I took delivery of a 2026 Lucid Air Touring, so I thought I would share my thoughts about the experience for anyone who is looking at buying or leasing the car. For background, my prior vehicle was a Rivian R1 and before that a BMW M550i. Those two vehicles I loved and...

    A pillar blind spot concerns

Thank you for the responses. I did another test drive, this time one with an aluminum roof, and maybe I had my seat set better but the a-pillar wasn't as horrible as I remember from the first test drive. It would still take some getting used to, especially coming from my current vehicle with...

    A pillar blind spot concerns

Down to the wire and need to make a decision on getting a Lucid Air. A few months ago I test drove one with the glass roof and as much as I loved the vehicle and the drive, absolutely hated the glass roof (it makes the visors stand out in a bad way) and the A-Pillar blind spot. I wouldn't...
