What I noticed is if I have my phone in my pocket it takes a good 5-10 seconds to unlock, sometimes more. However, if I have my phone out and held up to the middle of the window, it opens right away.

While this new design is a welcome change, am I the weird one who rarely interacts with the app? I don't even have it open for the mobile key to work. Seems to work "well enough" without running in the background.
