You don’t need the app running to use mobile key.

The functionality changed as a result of this tragedy. Now it is no longer a one button press and cannot be done without holding the button down the entire folding time. This does make sense.

Good points. I'd like to restate by saying this: if there's a feature really important to you in a car, make sure the car you buy already has it.

This thread, like many others on this forum, highlights the importance of ensuring that features important to you are already implemented in a vehicle (or anything else for that matter) that you are purchasing. Never buy on a promise. Unfortunately, these broken promises and stretched timelines...

They did deliver what you paid for, an upgraded computer. I'm sure nowhere in your paperwork does it say that you are buying or unlocking some sort of software version.

Do a search, I think that's been done before, but it was hard to get it fully integrated without major audio changes.

SiriusXM. Since I have a lifetime subscription on a different car, I can sign in and use it with no additional charge. This also makes it cheaper than the Lucid.

It really depends on the signal in your area offered by AT&T, which is the car's internal cellular. Here in San Diego, not so great. So the built-in system has a lot of dropouts. Instead, I use the satellite app through CarPlay, thus using Verizon, and everything works perfectly.
