    After Purchase SSP Upgrade (SS->SSP)?

My understanding is that this is not just a software upgrade, but that there are actually more physical speakers in SSP cars. A Lucid rep told me this but perhaps someone can confirm.

    Squirrelly Drive Assist

Me too. Very disturbing to passengers. But it keeps me awake!

New (To us) 2023 Lucid Air - lots of random bugs.. typically?

Not sure but I did my test drives out of Newark HQ in a 2023 GT (to purchase my 2025 GT). So they have them somehow. Perhaps they were employee cars.

New (To us) 2023 Lucid Air - lots of random bugs.. typically?

Agreed 100%. #1 and #2 are normal Lucid behavior (unfortunately). The others are unusual and not frequently reported (if ever, and I have been following the forums closely for six months).

    New Real Lucid Facebook Group

Thanks HC! In the end, I decided to close the group. My message below: Folks! My original motivation for starting this Group was because - unfortunately - the popular [Facebook] Lucid Owners Club has become over-focused on congratulating and complimenting Lucid, seemingly to boost the stock. I...

    Squirrelly Drive Assist

I have come to the conclusion that Drive Assist on 2 lane highways is at the very least scary and probably even dangerous. In my experience, as long as the lanes stay clean and uninterrupted (like they are mostly on a freeway), then no problem. But once the lines get broken for any reason (an...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

100%. The Air uses AT&T which doesn’t work where I live.

    New Real Lucid Facebook Group

Hi folks, I love the Lucid Owners Forum and it's my main source of Lucid info. But for those who use Facebook Groups as their first stop, I started a new Group called "The Real Lucid Owners Club". Description: Other Lucid Facebook Groups are basically little more than advertisements trying to...

    19” range without aero covers

FWIW, I have a 2015 GT with 19" wheels. I asked about removing the wheels when I picked it up and they told me it would reduce range by 10%.

efficiency with / without wheel covers - 20"

I have 19" wheels. When I picked up the car I asked about the wheel covers and they told me that the range hit would be 10%. So I keep them on as one of the main reasons I bought a GT was the 512 mile range.

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

Sorry I didn't know this AMA was only about audio tuning. People pay a LOT of money for this sound system and nowhere is it clear how to actually get the best sound out of it. Understanding how Lucid, integrated with Apple CarPlay, actually works will increase the odds that your customers get...

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

Okay but the answer to a separate question just stated that Lucid CarPlay integration uses wifi to connect, not bluetooth. So I assume bluetooth compression is not actually an issue.

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

Do you mean that a CarPlay connected iPhone is now using the car's cellular connection (not the phone's native cellular connection)?

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

Here's a feature suggestion very common in higher-end cars: when the car first 'starts' the volume should take a second or so to achieve the full set volume. This keeps people from getting their ears blasted if they had it cranked up the last time they were listening and forgot to turn it down...

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

On some Lucid forums it was reported that the hardware systems for Surreal Sound and SS Pro are identical, it is just a software switch that turns on the extra speakers. Is that accurate?
