I hope you're right. If this is an early speed bump (pun intended) and the car comes back "tighter," it's fine. The problem is that a start like this is hard to get over. It will magnify any future problems. I hope it comes back ready to be driven and my next messages are about taking corners...

It's certainly disheartening. Service said they have to drop the battery to get to the wunderbox. It's hard to think of it as a new car after this level of repairs. I do appreciate your reply.
