My final bill was around $41k (fully paid by insurance) and the shop Bel-red Auto rebuild took 5 months and 7 days to get the repair done (the initial estimated time given by shop was 2-2.5 months). Out of the total time taken, Lucid took 4 weeks to deliver the parts (so probably 2 more weeks...
An update on my issue: I ended up giving my car to Bel-Red Auto Rebuild (in Bellevue) due to following reasons:
1. Earliest appointment for Pacific Auto Body was 9/23 and that would be when they open the car and start making detailed estimate. My accident happened on 8/3 and Bel-Red was ready to...
Just went to the other shop in the morning today [Pacific Auto Body in Seattle]. Told the guy I'll be paying out of pocket for this and he took a look at the car. I also told him all essential things that the other shop mentioned that needed to be repaired/replaced (like the AC compressor)...
Hi, I live in Seattle and recently got into a collision which damaged my front bumper, fender alignment and lining and damaged my AC compressor. The car is drivable but AC is not working. Damage photos attached.
I called Lucid and asked for certified repair shops. Was quoted Pacific Auto Body...
Ohh so it is based on Swift language and not google's in-house Flutter. Hmm its interesting that Lucid didn't mention such a big change in the release notes.
I always carry my fob now so haven't tested the phone key in the last 2 weeks. I can try that and get back.
Between what do you mean by new native iOS app?
No I don't kill the apps.
I have a iPhone 14 Pro with latest iOS and have tried the unpair-clean-pair thing a lot of times. 2 issues:
1. Wireless CarPlay is not stable for me and it stops working every now and then. I have switched to wired carplay and its very stable.
2. Using phone as mobile key has never worked for...
I appreciate the rear view mirror tilt and other features. All of them work great except CarPlay. CarPlay has always been a hit and miss for me even with the latest update. Carplay is so essential because the native maps suck. Currently my car is in Lucid shop getting worked on for some hardware...
I am also getting a slightly used Air Touring at $73k plus taxes and registration.
Exact same config but with 20" Aero wheels.
Spec:
Air Touring, Cosmos silver, Santa cruz
Glass roof, DDPro, Sound Pro, 20" aero wheels
Full body PPF - worth approx 4.8k (owner is claiming this, will ask for...
Yeah if I just subtracted $3k from the Lease due at signing amount, so that becomes $3100.
Even if I add 2800 buffer miles costing around $700 ($0.25/mile) over 3 years, the total diff b/w leasing and financing is $3600 which is like $100 per month.
I think I will go with leasing. Thank you...
PS - Please ignore my last post. I corrected my calculation but cannot edit/delete the post.
So I talked to bank of america today (which is handling the leasing). Seems like the rep was right about credits not getting applied on the residual value at the end of the lease.
36 months, 7500...
