ah that sucks. i dont use android. my soft close doors are perfect. i dont have a saphire and the changing from park to drive has always worked. so no upgrade for me. :(
I charged two days ago at EA. it took a while to recognize my car. i had to plug in several times . well, today I noticed $325 of pending EA charges. haha. I still have free charging with Lucid. lets see if they charge me or not. it was a bunch of $25 dollar charges.
sorry to hear all of that. my touring has none of these issues. I carry my phone as a key and a fob for valet purposes all the time. sometimes i get a 1 second delay when i approach the car. i never have to press the handle to open. call mobile service or get a loaner until they fix it...
we all went thru something similar. as consumers we are used to going to a dealership finding the exact car we want and buying it. the Lucid process is different especially given the one plant producing many variations of the car.
my recommendation to you (trust me on this one) is to order...
i would call again and ask if they recorded the call. maybe they did. if not, talk to someone higher at Lucid, maybe they will cut you a break on the new car.
unfortunately, this is an industry wide normal process for early returns. in cases like this you always pay the full lease term. unless you have your special deal in writing or they recorded the call, you will lose in court. sorry.
