5.8677 in the eighth mile. Multiply 1/8 mile by 1.55 and you get a pretty accurate 1/4 mile time of 9.09 which is in line with what’s expected (and clearly the car is quicker and faster than a model S plaid)

Actually the video did prove that it’s faster.. it hit 153 mph.. Teslas best trap speed was 149 mph and it’s not stock (weight reduction) (which helps the trap speed)

Some key takeaways from the video imo… the Sapphire managed a high trap speed of 153mph which is quite decent (and only slightly off from the 155mph from the promo video where it ran the 8 second pass). Though there was quite a bit of variance in the Lucid trap speed (low of 148 to a high of 153...
