Air 2025 unlikely to have NACS port

Not necessarily. The NACS connector can support up to ~1000 V charging IF the charging station supports it. Practically, this means all NACS stations except Tesla Supercharger V3 (and older) stations can support ~1 kV. That said, it's unfortunate that the Lucid Wunderbox only supports 50 kW...

QUESTION 2023 Air Touring Tire efficiency

While there is often a correlation between traction and rolling resistance, especially in wet conditions, they are not the same thing and the rolling resistance certainly does not come from the coefficient of friction

Lucid vs Tesla self drive software

There’s a day and night difference between their ADAS capabilities / software, unfortunately. I’d say on highways, Lucid today is at best similar to very early 2018 Tesla AP2 / AP2.5. Yet, the Lucid is better than most non-Tesla cars. Outside highways, Lucid only has adaptive cruise, so worse...

New All Season Tire Test from TYRE REVIEWS - Michelin Cross Climate no longer #1 for this tester

The tires in that test are entirely non-US market tires. Even the tested CrossClimate2 is the European version, which isn't the same as the North American CrossClimate2. The EU version has better rolling resistance, while the NA version has better wear.

    Rear light condensated

For the record, my center brake light was replaced at the Millbrae service center in a matter of days for the common condensation issue (would take many days to dry out). I am pretty sure it was done in-house.

    App Version 1.44.0

Indeed, the FCC disclosures from Lucid show no (unused) UWB radio, so no hope of adding reliable handsfree UWB access through a SW update (which what Tesla just did on their refreshed cars)

    Rear light condensated

Any updates? I’ve heard the condensation in the center/third brake light is a known/warranty issue.

Perhaps I should have bought a GT....

Going down to 5% or even 0% isn't really bad unless you keep your car idle at those levels for extended periods, especially in the cold. In all practical use cases, you charge immediately afterwards, so really nothing to worry about.

L2 charging just before driving in the cold improves driving efficiency?

Yes, this is a common experience across all EVs. Otherwise, some of the battery's charge will have to be spent on heating the battery, otherwise even more of the battery's charge is wasted due to inefficiencies of a cold battery!

Well here it is Tesla Plaid versus Lucid Air Sapphire on the same day in the same place~ no excuses!

The PS4S on the Lucid is also an OE tire designed for (an electric) Lucid. The P Zero on the Tesla is also an OE tire designed for Tesla. The "electric" badging on the tire means nothing when the tire is an OE tire built to the specific manufacturers tuning. You can't even compare them with the...

Well here it is Tesla Plaid versus Lucid Air Sapphire on the same day in the same place~ no excuses!

Depends on the claim. If they claim our car is better, sure. If they claim one particular OEM tire has better longitudinal traction than another at a particular temperature and weather conditions, I'd put a lot of trust in their claim. The tires on both of the cars were OEM tires with OEM...

Why Lucid defaults to smooth drive mode- found answer

Can someone be kind enough to point me to the "other thread"? Both the forum search and Google search failed me (or maybe I failed them :) )

QUESTION 2023 Air Touring Tire efficiency

If you look at the detailed EPA consumption numbers, the highway rating difference is a mix of rolling resistance and aero, while the city rating difference is mainly due to rolling resistance differences between tires / wheels. The impact of wheel/tire mass on consumption is negligible, as...

    Trailer Hitch for Air

Practically all cars without an OEM hitch option claim the same in the US (laziness? liability?). The same cars get tow ratings in Europe and do just fine when towing. The Model 3 is one such example.

FEATURE Introducing RangeXChange V2V charging for Lucid

Or V2L, for emergencies that actually happen. An EV out of charge is even more rare than ICE running out of gas, statistically!
