I am in Orlando area going from a Tesla model Y to a Lucid Air Touring. Anyone else make this move? any advise?

I'm in Kissimmee. We have a model Y and air GT. The air is mechanically the superior car. Software goes to Tesla. Lucid's software is pretty stable but entry control remains a problem. I'll answer to your question this way, the kids always want to ride in the Air for road trips.

In Orlando, had the model 3 since 2018 and got a 23 Air GT a few months ago, agree with enzro, compared to early version model 3, the air hardware is way superior. power and comfort are unmatched even compared to other luxury cars. even with 19 wheels my range is about half of what is published by Lucid. individual componentry has its issues etc. delamination on B pillars, some switch gear, have some camera issues, sometimes parking camera do not come up during reverse. Entry is unreliable. Of late Lucid customer service has been slow to respond as well. Still have 18 months warranty left and hope that these issue will be sorted out. If they are, it will make a great car.

Has anyone else signed up for the lucidtracker.app? I did and paid $49.99 for one year but I get nothing that they advertise. Lucid does not support this. I think it is a scam. stay away.

I'm signed up for this, and I think it's great! It gives you an amazing amount of data on your Lucid (trip tracking, energy usage, charging curves, etc.) at a granular level. Plus, the website owner (@HC_79 on this forum) is extremely responsive when you ask questions, and he's great at tracking down and fixing bugs. If only Lucid's software team did as good a job of identifying and quickly fixing issues! You should reach out to him if you're having problems with the site.

I live in Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, FL. I am very pleased to start seeing more and more lucid Air's and just talked to a new Gravity owner. There are 3 in my small neighbor hood alone. I would enjoy getting together with other local owner for coffee or Happy Hour. Let me know.

Hi everyone. New member from West Palm Beach! Any thoughts on the commercial fast chargers down here in south FL? Literally just got my car yesterday, but drive to miami quite a bit to see family (none of whom have EV charging capabilities I could mooch off lol) and do a fair bit of driving...

Most EA charges by a super Walmart or Target tend to work ok. The problem sometimes is that they are full. Check EA app for the ones you drive close to. And, most public parks and town buildings have free level 2. So sometimes, I park there for lunch or some meeting and get 30-60 miles of KW for free.

FPLnet chargers on the turnpike are reliable but sometimes a bit slow (50-100kw max)

That’s a familiar problem for me. I also drive a lot, and my brother constantly plays video games right in the car. Recently, someone sent him links—https://sic-bo-in.com/ with a description of Sic Bo, and https://funkytimegame.org/ with a review of Funky Time. He’s become a fan of these games. I don’t know if they affect the car batteries, but it feels like they’ve started draining even faster.

Snowbirder is interested … but not August! 10 years ago we were driving Tesla MS north and south but by 2023&4 found flying (And shipping the car) much less fatiguing. With our AGT drove in 2025. Totally better. Actually exhilarating at times. So for us our car is known as an AGGT= Air Grand, Great Touring!

Sept 28 Event coming.

That garage is a bit odd. When I parked there for the first time, they had attendants passing out little business cards with QR codes for the parking website. You have to register an account and link your plate number, then they auto charge you by reading your plate. I was parked for about 1.5 hours and was charged about $13. Maybe they tacked on some fees since they had to mail you the invoice and find your address?

They charged admin fee of $25. I contacted them and it looks like they waived my parking fees altogether.

I called Lucid Miami and they told me that parking was on us for the event. They said payment was owed when we left the garage. So I paid the $40 including the $25 fee.

Besides my 2023 Lucid Air, I bought my son the Bolt EUV a couple years ago. We love both cars. I have a deposit on a Silverado RS EV, but not sure if I get that or Gravity next.
