after a seemingly endless wait (demo Touring damaged prior to shipping, long delay before being notified, then long delay for refund of funds), the second attempt (a '22 GT this time) shipped from Kansas yesterday. I thought it was going to take a few days longer, but the driver text me this evening to say he's estimating being here by around 7pm tomorrow. Woohoo!

Well, it's here and it's %^&=$^^ spectacular. I'm kinda lost for words after the first couple of drives. Most ppl have no idea what they're missing out on, it seems, or more ppl would be freaking out and clamoring to buy. What a car.

Naturally, 4 days after taking delivery, it needed to head to KOP for numerous items, the most urgent being the airbag housing separating from steering wheel. While it's there, though, they're doing a bunch of things (software update that couldn't be done via OTA due to it sitting for a while and missing a time-sensitive update), wiper arm changes, battery terminal changes, charge port door re-alignment, programming of key card (dealer didn't have it) and as of this morning I asked them to check the woofer in the driver door based on other forum posts since I haven't had a chance to try the sound myself and absolutely want to avoid another service call if possible. It's a special kind of torture to have so many issues during acquisition only to have the car for a few days and be without it for another 9 days (as of tomorrow). Fingers crossed for smoother run from here.

@coma24 I'm invested. Did you get the car back and how is it?

It's kind of you to ask, lol. The car is amazing. The only issue that wasn't addressed was the charging door alignment isn't quite right, but it's really very minor. It's an absolute pleasure to drive. As I type this, I'm sitting in the back, at a scenic spot, music playing in the background, getting some work done on the laptop. It's now a mobile office!

You will find excuses to want to drive this car. The built-in nav is just great, sound system is fine, handling and acceleration are ridiculous. If you can see a line, you can drive it.

I agree with EVERYTHING you said about the car. Also, I am happy you joined our club!
