Gravity SW update inbound...

So you and @borski just install incognito huh. Nothing juicy I guess. 😁😂
Nothing to really report apart from it installed with no issues. I haven't been out and driven the car yet

Round 2
Wish me luck

Tomorrow I have ton of errands
I want to enjoy some wine right now as I make dinner
Good, save the test for when you really need it, I will have popcorn ready.

Quick drive to grab lunch and everything seems stable in the 20 mins I was driving around. Halo Secure started working for me again and the HVAC seems to have calmed itself down now (although, the Artic Blast didn’t happen every time I got in the car previously).

Only thing I’ve noticed is all the Sanctuary videos cleared out and now it says it’s grabbing them and will take a moment. Well, it’s been a few hours and still hasn’t shown any content. Maybe it’s a 24 hour thing and no big deal really.

In other words…. So far, so good albeit a brief trip.

Echoing this. Things I noticed:
  1. The splash screen definitely helps make the car software feel more responsive to wake up, even if it actually takes the same amount of time to get to an interactive state. Better UX this way for sure.
  2. Navigating between screens in the UI seems solid. Previously, for example, I would hit the Seats tab, but it would stay on whatever screen I was on, while the navbar showed that I was on the Seats tab. No more.
  3. I was having an issue for the last few days where the nav on the top screen would freeze if I wasn't also on the Nav tab on the bottom screen. This appears to be fixed.
Overall, seems solid so far.

I've had this issue in the past as well, but it shows up so sporadically that it's impossible to say whether it's truly fixed given that the car just rebooted after the update. Fingers crossed.

I wonder if they're now gonna be cloud based vs downloaded, I believe the release mentions something in those lines

stupid question the folks who received the update already, whats your production date on the gravity? are they pushing these out on earlier builds first? I was told I have to wait again 2 weeks, maybe I get it automatically or after 2 weeks I can reach out to the support that they push it. But they won't do it now :D

"Improved download performance and reliability for Sanctuary and cloud-delivered content."

There's no way they're going to stream every time you need to use the sanctuary rather than download it once. That would defeat the whole point of sanctuary because you will be the opposite of calm while it's buffering and you have no signal.

It’s luck of the draw. Sometimes you may be first in the batch and other times it could be days or even a week or so. No one has been able to figure out the pattern on how Lucid batches cars for OTA updates.

From that wording (Sanctuary and cloud-delivered content) I assumed that it was related to all the people saying that their Sanctuary Mode videos were missing and that the update would fix/improve them being downloaded at all.

Might just be taking some time to get the videos back. Looks like the car is certainly downloading stuff
