Gravity Bugs / Issues

Sadly, add me to the list of folks who are having issues with the key card being recognized in the center console. I took delivery Saturday, 9/20 (was factor gated 9/5). The key card worked at delivery and worked taking the first round of kids to school this morning, but did not work for taking the second round of kids to school. I tried both key cards, let the vehicle sit for about 4 hours, tried again, and the vehicle still does not recognize the key card at the center console. Both key cards unlock the vehicle. Happily, the key fob is working (delivered with 3.3.1 and I assume the key fob update applied) so we are using that.
We also have a weird bug where the temperature units up front are in Fahrenheit but, on the second row screen, they are in Celsius. I have a hunch that I'll be able to fix it by changing the unit to Celsius and then back to Fahrenheit.
I also noticed that the mechanism for moving the second row forwards/backwards is quite loud. Have other folks noticed that, too?
We took the vehicle on an 80+ mile trip yesterday and it worked great and was able to hold so, so much more stuff than our iX despite having similar exterior dimensions. The kids are pushing to go on a road trip in it, but I think we'll wait a bit until Lucid works some more bugs out and I have more of a chance to find any other issues.
Yes, second row is loud when it moves for everyone.

Why would you choose to use keycards instead of the fob? Having had to use keycards for a while, it’s super annoying.

Some other folks had the temperature thing and it just fixed itself or they reset.

Which reminds me - I think at some point my Gravity clock stopped being there minutes fast! Maybe the last OTA…

Thanks for the confirmation about the loudness of the second row.

Key card attached to my wife's profile so that it would load with the correct profile when she drives it as the key fob is attached to my profile (I'm the primary driver on this vehicle). We are used to the BMW and the Model Y (that this Gravity replaced) automatically going to our profile and adjusting mirrors, seats, etc. on entry instead of having to manually switch profiles. Perhaps we will just have to deal with switching profiles until PaaK is released.

We have that but as well. I caught it at delivery and they did fix it by cycling back to centigrade and the to Fahrenheit but now its returned.

I’d take PaaK fist by a wide margin.

Both I and my partner swap driving our cars pretty much 50/50, and we're both often in the cars together with both our cell phones. How would PaaK identify which person is going to be driving?

With our iX, it is whomever unlocks the car first (by opening a door). We just make sure whomever is driving is the first one to open a door. Technically, Lucid or others could use UWB to located each phone within the vehicle and use the one that is located in the driver's seat.

It doesn’t. It’s annoying in our Model X. You have to choose someone’s phone to basically be the default. That said, it takes five seconds to touch screen and change the profile and it actually works quickly.

I just think their Face ID thing will take forever to implement and PaaK can be done faster. This coming from someone who has never used Face ID in a car but plenty of PaaK cars…so no idea…

It sometimes doesn't. Fairly often if my wife gets in before I do I have to reach up and select my profile on the display panel.

Fob linked profile switching on our Volvo V60 Polestar also sucks, it was so unpredictable we just quit using it and instead I made button 2 on the door my seat settings and then just manually adjust the mirrors if I drive the car instead of my wife. Can’t imagine the chaos that would happen if Volvo did PAAK and profile switching. I honestly think Lucid’s method of just sucking at automatic profile switching and making you do it manually is the way to go, cuz then if you choose the other profile by clicking on it, it actually loads.

Hopefully the fact that your key cards worked at delivery and for awhile after means it's a software issue, not hardware (center console) like mine.
My key cards never worked.
Unfortunately, I forgot to test them on a visit to the studio prior to home delivery.

Whatever happened with your center console? Did it finally arrive?

I did a soft reboot and key cards still don't work. I also checked wireless charging and, like the key cards, while it was working at delivery, it no longer works, either. The reboot did fix the different temperature units in the front and back.

Does anyone else have the issue, mainly at sundown/dawn or nighttime with the HUD background screen changing light levels? When I'm driving at night, there is a pronounced square projected on the windshield in addition to the HUD data. That square is constantly changing intensity. I'm assuming that all I should be seeing are numbers and not a reflection of the entire screen in the windshield. Hoping that this is just another issue along with the white "blob" artifact specific to this HUD display and that they will plan on replacing it once my home service appointment takes place next week.

My wireless charging has been perfect. Until today. It just stopped working. Ironically, without the errant “wireless charging” warning I got many times before when it did work!

As @borski mentioned my center console may need to be replaced. I am not going there unless I have to!

It’s going on my list of fixes but not immediate issues.

Does anyone know what this red highlighted door means?

My car has been in the shop for a week, first to fix some trim that the service center ruined by running the car through a touchless car wash, and also a window seal issue.

While the car was in service the update to 3.3.1 failed, which eventually led them to “overnight” a new center console on a Friday. It still hasn’t arrived unfortunately so I have no idea when I’ll have it back.
