I picked up my Lucid Air Touring yesterday (2/10) from Goose Island, Chicago. I was waiting for a Pure, but my SA and DA found an unclaimed Touring in my exact configuration and with the $7,500 discount it wasn't much more than the Pure. I received the grandfathered price, since I had been waiting for a Pure since September 29, 2021.

Ordered: September 29, 2021
Confirmed: August 11, 2022
Changed from Pure to Touring February 6, 2023
Picked up in Chicago, resident of Champaign County, IL

Replaces 2019 Honda Insight hybrid
 
On Monday, I was told my car was in Houston ready for inspection and that delivery will happen this week. It’s now 12:40 pm cst Thursday and I still haven’t heard anything else. They really got my hopes up for it to deliver this week

@lucidtouringman what's the status of yours? I remember we got our vin probably a day apart. I was told mine should be heading to Chicago, enroute VA but I should receive final payment instructions before then. I was to receive instructions last Saturday but still waiting.... just curious how far along yours is

Picking up mine tomorrow... Got the call that PDI is done..

Going to the shop for wrapping and tints on Thursday... Going for a long drive over the weekend..! Can't wait...

Well, enjoy the delivery of your new car, and take the long way home. Got mine Saturday and I've already put 500 miles on the car.
 
Waiting is AGONY! Informed by my DA the car has just left Arizona factory and is en route to Riviera Beach for cleanup and inspection before I take delivery. Hoping another week to 10 days should do it. Coming with 90 trial of DDPro and SSPro.
ZR/SC/19” - - then wrapping and tint as well. Egads - -
 
I was informed yesterday by my inside delivery advisor that the current plan is for the hardware for DDP & SSP to not be included in the Pures. Just a word of caution for anyone that's ordering a Pure and thinks they may want those features down the road.

Oh, boy, do I remember this phase of the "journey." Utter torture. But you will forget all about it when you drive it for the first time. You are so close. Hang in there.

What caused the delay from the VIN assignment date to the delivery date? I just received my VIN and Purchase Agreement and was hoping my Pure would be ready in a couple of weeks.
