Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

    It's a '25, so yes.

CLoud Settings in Lucid Home Charger

There is no cloud thing for the Lucid charger. Connectivity does basically nothing for it at this point aside from getting firmware updates. I'm not positive, but I think what you're looking at is something designed for commercial installations, not end users.

    Can I Lower Charging Current?

It can be done with third party chargers, but honestly, “breaker keeps tripping” means time to call an electrician. Especially if it got worse over time. It almost certainly means some part of the circuit has been getting uncomfortably hot and is degrading. Keep pushing it and you’ll end up with...

    CarPlay Nav on Cockpit Screen

No, only Apple Maps. That's a phone thing, not a car thing. I'm not sure if Apple doesn't share that feature with third party apps or if they just haven't implemented it. Edit: Oh, that's Google Maps in the screenshot? Must be the latter then and Waze is just behind.

First time Lucid - New 2025 Air GT - love any help

The very first lease returns have just hit over the past few months. Hopefully that process will be ironed out over time. As for your choice, take a test drive? We have no way of knowing which things are more important to you.

Is there a way to check the Lucid Air central computer Hardware Version?

If it's a 2022 model year, it's definitely the old hardware. No reason to upgrade at the moment if you're happy with the current performance though.

I'm in the same boat. I see no reason to do it 🤷‍♂️

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

I would be somewhat surprised if Sentry needed a new CCC. I'd also be surprised if the new CCC really helped out ADAS in any way. For your use case though, it may still improve the reliability of CarPlay because the CCC is responsible for maintaining that WiFi connection with your phone. I have...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

It's mostly just infotainment, ADAS is multiple separate computers.

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

Yup, the CCC is one of many SBCs (or ECUs in dusty old automotive terms) in the car. The whole module is replaced, it does not have removable RAM or a socketed CPU like a desktop PC. Also to clarify a previous post before some of you get excited: while there likely is a software "update"...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/search?term=longest%20journey&page=1&type=all&max=20&partial=_Results& Are any of these what you'd call useful or straightforward? If it's intentionally misleading, who has it misled? I have some bridges in my trench coat I'd love to sell them! Guiness an...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

It's not meaningless, nor is it a new or surprising thing - people have been doing distance records like this since we could count. It's not particularly useful, but it's no more meaningless than most world records. The point is not to tell the average Joe CarBuyer the range to expect from the...

5.0 miles/kWh: Say Hello to the World's Most Efficient Car

The net change from point to point is about -4200ft. Over 749 miles, that's just an average -0.1% grade. Given the area I think there's practically no way they didn't have a few mountain passes along the way. It must've been pretty low speed though.

    Firmware Updates in Germany

There's a dash cam thread with install tips: https://lucidowners.com/threads/dash-cam.966/ No update on if/when Lucid will have a dash cam feature built in. That has never been promised.

Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

Understood and apologies for coming off harsh there. I’ve just seen a lot of posts around (not here) recently of people who think betas are like hot backstage passes to show off, complaining that things break. I mistook this for that. Carry on.

A good way to check battery health?

👋 Yes, hi! Share away. It's public info. I'd suggest sharing much longer term data from sources like this though: https://www.nimblefins.co.uk/study-real-life-tesla-battery-deterioration After all, Airs are only about 4 years old at most.

Charging Speeds on Lucid Air Touring

Last time I recorded an EA session: https://lucidowners.com/threads/charging-curve-logs-post-2-1-52.8093/page-4#post-199020 This was a while ago, there have supposedly been some improvements to the charging curve since but I don't fast charge often. 125kW at 50%, and didn't drop below 100kW...

    OTA Update 2.7.0

We've reached the point where it's reasonable to ask Customer Care to push it to you. Rollouts aren't this slow, but if it fails to push to you for some reason you may have to ask.

Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

Don't use a developer beta on your personal phone, they're for developers to use on their development phones or emulators...
