I would love to see this one in person some day!

Real world range touring 19 inch wheels

Exactly my experience. My sister has a Bolt. She says it always gets more than the expected range. But I'm not sure if it's the car or if it's her driving which tends to be very slow.

Google adds Max, Peacock, and Angry Birds to cars with native Android software

Just what is needed in a car! I'm waiting for Android Auto with the rest of the Android users, but for me, this wouldn't add anything I care about. Once my free charging runs out, the car will charge overnight when I'm not in it. On the rare road trip, I'm outside the car the majority of the...

Real world range touring 19 inch wheels

I have a GT on 19" wheels. My normal driving gets me about 3.4. Without the AC which wasn't needed that day and sticking to 65/70 on the freeway, I got 4.8. It was just hard to keep it that slow.

    FEATURE 2024 Wishlist Survey

I'm the same way. Not scared to back into a parking spot, but just not very good at it and very slow. Except my garage, which I have to do every day.

    FEATURE 2024 Wishlist Survey

I hate those things. At least in the Air I do. The front of my other car goes over them without any problems. On the GT, the air dams get torn off. I've alrady had them replaced, and now one is hanging down again.

Tesla Superchargers to open to all EVs in California

I can't imagine that work environment being pleasant to work in. I wouldn't work for any company he ran, unless I was in danger of losing my home and there were absolutely no other job opportunities available. And even then, it would only be until I found something else.

    Rawlinson Interview with "Motor Trend"

I don't think it's that bad. Besides, it's not a beauty contest. It's about the cars.

    May is my lucky month

Sorry, had to ask. I wasn't on this forum two years ago. But I agree, it's far better to focus on the future than the past.

    Regenerative braking

Which makes sense. When you're driving an ICE car and you lift your foot off the accelerator, the car slows down but the brake lights don't come on until you actually press the brake pedal. So other drivers shouldn't need to see a light the moment you stop accelerating.

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

This is probably just me, but the extreme background blur makes the Lucid look like one of the little Matchbox cars in a model someone built.

    Car Software Update cadence

I noticed that too when I was looking for info on him yesterday.

    Side Mirror Tilt Rant

Actually, I don't think I've ever done that. The only time you could possibly park on a driver's side curb would be parking on the left side of a one way street. Normally you're parking on the passenger side curb or pulling into a parking space.

    Getting The Stealth Look?

I felt the same way and did something similar with mine. It was too much chrome, but a little bit brings out the shape of the car if the paint is dark. It the same reason I like the stealth option on the lighter paint colors.

    Scheduled charging unreliable

I want that too. I hope it will be in some future update. But in the meantime, I came up with a workaround last night. I wasn't able to plug it in until 2am and wanted it to stop early morning. I realized if you adjust the charge limit, it tells you how long it will take to get there. I moved it...

How to reach the service team at Costa Mesa

Actually there's a few service guys down here, but if you're lucky you get Frank. I just wait until he's available when I make an appointment now.

Lucid charging speed vs Chevy Bolt

I would estimate that a very high number of Bolt drivers would prefer to be Lucid drivers if they could afford the car. It is three times the cost, quite a difference.

How to reach the service team at Costa Mesa

I usually get a quicker response when I text CS than when I call them. That sounds like something they can check out at your home.
