Awesome! You will love the car. Make sure you have a few apps set up for the road trip back. You will need plug share, electrify America, and abrp.

Plan your route home. EA is preferred since it has free charging. But make sure it is a good one by checking it on plugshare for rating and EA to determine if it is working.

Abrp is good if you adjust the efficiency to 3.4 or so to be conservative. If you drive 75 or lower you will get 3.8 or more mile per kw efficiency.

Plan your route and stay overnight at hotel with a level 2 charger to get full charge before trip. Normally, only charge to 80% during your trip except for overnight where you go to 100%.

I live in Florida so I have a couple paid apps like ChargePoint and FPL evolution. These chargers are usually very good but I have to pay so I use them when needed.

Good luck!

Update #1. Just pulled over for first charge, EA in effingham at the firefly . Free! Goose (because i picked her up at the goose creeke service center in chicago)is killin’ it with 4.5 mi/kwh so far with a/c set to 76 as i was baking with just the vent as it’s almost 90 out. Since EA isnt making me pay, it doesnt recognize me on the app, so can’t see the charging rate. Gaining electrons quick. Gonna hit the tesla supercharger next in marion and see how elon’s new gift is gonna work. Cmon, the base stereo isn’t all that bad. Wish i had dream drive pro though, as the lane centering would have been nice. Traded that off though for the massage seats which are great. More to come! Onward

Not sure you can charge there unless it's a Magic Dock?

And turn your AC lower! Why drive in heat? Haha

Not quite. At least the one that has the Magic Dock in the DFW area goes all the way to 230/240kw the two times I’ve used it.
What car were you charging there? Likely a 400V car. The Supercharger network is 400-500V system and therefore Lucid's have to do a DC to DC boost to get the voltage high enough to charge a Lucid. That DC to DC boost is limited to 50kW.

No kidding?! That’s a first as supposedly the chargers are not fully compatible with Lucid due to the 900v architecture. Also supposedly the 1000v superchargers don’t exist yet. You’re making me want to go check it out!

Today though was another story, had to get back quick so enough trying to hypermile. Stomped on it all the way back and set the ac to 76. Averaged about 3.4 today and got up over 100 a few times on the texas autobahns. So fast and smooth.

I thought the base radio was good enough, sounded good on sirius xm, and better with tidal & apple music, really not an audiophile though.

Wasn’t thrilled with the dream drive premium as cars that cost 1/3 the price have adaptive cruise and lane centering. I guess i was drifting left a bit as the warning was beeping and at me the whole day, and didnt seem to sense my hands on the wheel, at times. Apparently did a good job of training me as it barely came on at all today. 19” wheels super comfy and love the extra miles.

Love the car!! Trips just fly by. Cant wait for the next road trip.
