    Gravity in the wild

I saw my first one in LG (have seen 2 in Mountain View and 2 on 85) the other day and waved like mad from my Air.

Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

One thing I'll add about the Lucid nav, it seems to have learned, or at least accepted my driving style. I take several sides roads in my daily 20 mi drive to school and it shows this route as this best when I do set nav in order to see traffic. That is something my Model S never did. It...

Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

I have rarely had any issues with Lucid's nav over my 3.5 years of ownership. I find it accurate, with the time to destination and battery left at arrival spot on. I don't go to obscure trailheads, but I am often driving to unfamiliar areas in rush hour traffic for my kids' sports games. I've...

    $30K Lease for a Car I Can’t Drive — Lucid Ghosted Me

This makes me think maybe it's the seat causing the issues?

    “Offline”

A very good post, as usual. While I haven't had this happen in my Lucid, it did happen with my 2013 Model S multiple times and no amount of service could fix it. While I did despise that vehicle with every fiber of my being (for many reasons), I still attempted to find what was wrong with it...

    2.8.0 Software Update

To anyone wondering, took just under (the stated) 2 hours to install. I usually get the updates on day 3 or 4 and here it is day 4. Do you all normally get it on day 1?

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

There are numerous past threads regarding this, from when the Air first came out.

So, you could have predicted the tariff situation?

    Locked Out

Exactly! He quite clearly doesn't want to find a solution. Have we all become so entitled that we cannot deign to find workarounds for software quirks? We want software heavy cars but seem to forget software comes with bugs and "fun" quirks. Do we make the same errors over and over with other...

    Locked Out

Lol, on Tesla. I accidentally locked my toddler in my Model S the first week I had it because I closed the front door before I opened the back and left the key in the cupholder. Learned real quick not to do that again. Is there any reason you keep repeating your mistake instead of trying to find...

    Software issues

There are some easy solutions to some of these. First - use the fob. I've used the fob exclusively for 3 years and it works perfectly. Also, if you cannot see, adjust your seat and/or steering position so you can. As for the radio, occasionally the software updates do mess it up a bit in terms...

I asked Lucid to sneak me in for a test drive in Dallas this Saturday. This was their response.

I believe the case has been made quite clearly. I hope you paid for the staff's dinner that evening or otherwise thanked them profusely. Fyi, pointing out the 1000 miles is beyond ridiculous. It was your decision to fly to Dallas.

Removal of Alexa in 2.4.x software

I, for one, have been waiting 2.5 years for Lucid to replace Alexa and am very happy it is gone. I am still learning to use LA (it seems to like kpop as it pops up during songs), but I assume it will only get better and more nuanced in time.

Mileage experience after 5k miles on GT

Interesting. I agree with you on the resetting of the efficiency clock. I would add the caveat that as long as the car doesn't sit fully charged (to your set %) and plugged in for too long. I find the car is more efficient and has less vampire drain when not plugged in and sitting idle than...

    Valet parking Lucid Air Touring

Are we sure about the cup holder being a dead zone? If I don't have pockets or my kids grab the fob to get to the car first, that is where the key sits. It has never not worked for me there.
