    Charging upgrade?

For me it would be more about city driving rather than road trips. Even on road trips, I still want faster charging if I'm not going to be eating a meal.

    Charging upgrade?

I'm just wondering if there are some software "tweaks" that can be made to make the charging curve more flat. I'm hopeful as rivian did it but I'm not sure how much difference it made. If you look at reviews out there, real world charging tests have lucid sort of in the middle. Eg Edmunds has...

    Charging upgrade?

I just did this the other day. I preconditioned for 20min, temp outside was about 20 Celsius, 350kw charger, I went from 7% to 69% in 30min. Not bad but not great. I hit a peak of 295kw but that lasted for about 10 sec. I stayed above 200 until soc was about 15% only. The video is out of spec...

    Charging upgrade?

I just watched the video on the new Taycan that shows it's true charging speed and I am both extremely impressed and downright jealous. I realize that charging rates are not just an issue with the car but with the provider itself but I have to say I've been quite disappointed in how my AGT...

Lucid Air Touring v Porsche Taycan

Taycan is snug - for the driver and everyone else. I transport my kids in my car daily so taycan (even cross turismo) is nowhere near as comfortable for them especially the rear middle seat. Driving: if you have access to lots of twisty roads and enjoy driving those, then Taycan has an edge...

    FEATURE OTA Update 2.1.52

For the tire configurator I assume this means it will be able to store 2 different tpms sensors data rather than just 1 for 2 different sets of wheels? Otherwise the only thing that changes is the range calculation which isn't that important to me.

    Navigation accuracy-remarkable

I wanted to share my great recent experience with the built in navigation range estimate. During one of my recent drives my range showed 288km and the navigation said I'd arrive at my destination with 288km remaining but there was still 2.5km left until I would arrive. Lucid algo knew that the...

How Long Do You Plan To Hold On To Your Lucid Air?

I really wanted to try a lucid out so I bought one with the intention of keeping for <6m and accepted a loss of $50k at most... At least that's what I told my wife. 6m has come and gone and I don't want to give the car up. So, likely for me I'll keep it until the gravity comes out or if lucid...

    Speculation Lucid UX 3.0

I used to be quite critical of lucid's software but then I began to stop comparing it to others and use it for what it is rather than what it is not. This has helped me appreciate many things about it compared to my prev tesla MX and current eqs SUV w/ hyperscreen. 360 camera is the best I've...

Music + phone issue post 2.1.47

Since installing 2.1.47, my android phone issue (not being able to hear the other side when call connects) has been resolved but another issue has occured that I've never experienced before. Occasionally (I'm not sure if it is related to length of the phone call or if it is random), while I'm on...

    Ready, set, go!

The only caveat I would say with this, based on my personal experience, is that there is "dead" time associated with each charging stop such as detour time and the time it takes for the station to actually begin delivering the charge, which can often be several minutes in and of itself!
